Abstract
► Oligoanilines are obtained by aniline-peroxydisulfate reaction in low acidic media. ► Aniline-benzoquinone (AnBzq) is a model system to characterize oligoanilines. ► A detailed assignment of IR and Raman bands of AnBzq system is proposed. ► The bichromophoric nature of AnBzq was revealed by Raman spectroscopy.
