Abstract
⺠We examine how the bidirectionally aligned liquid crystal film settles down to a stationary bi-vortical flow regime. ⺠We report the effect of temperature gradient on static and dynamic properties of liquid crystal sample. ⺠We report the effect of the bounding surfaces on maintaining the thermally excited vortical flows.
