Abstract
⺠The molecular structure strongly affects the mesophase properties in the guest. ⺠High ordered smectic phases detected in the monomer guest produces monomer segregation. ⺠The new structure of the molecule guest directly affects their mesomorphic properties and the affinity in the polymeric matrix.
