Abstract
⺠Non-orthogonal X-junctions of UTCNTs are prone to transform into parallel-junction by heating at high temperature. ⺠The torque and the corresponding angular displacement of the UTCNTs in this transformation are analyzed. ⺠The transformation is a result of the torque originating from the heating of the non-orthogonal X-junction.
