Abstract
► Terrylene-doped anthracene thin films were obtained by spin coating. ► Fluorescence lifetime measured to be 3.6 ns; shorter than those in other hosts. ► Terrylene molecules were oriented nearly parallel to the substrate. ► Typical fluorescence detection rates at saturation were ≈750 kHz. ► Our results complement previous studies on terrylene-anthracene at low temperatures.
