Abstract
⺠Terrylene-doped anthracene thin films were obtained by spin coating. ⺠Fluorescence lifetime measured to be 3.6 ns; shorter than those in other hosts. ⺠Terrylene molecules were oriented nearly parallel to the substrate. ⺠Typical fluorescence detection rates at saturation were â750 kHz. ⺠Our results complement previous studies on terrylene-anthracene at low temperatures.
