Abstract
⺠Thick cobalt films electrodeposited on gold substrates were investigated. ⺠The deposits became more and more inhomogeneous with increasing deposit thickness. ⺠The deposits consisted of nanocrystalline grains of the order of 100 nm in size. ⺠The maze domains had perpendicular magnetization and sizes of the order of 500 nm. ⺠The average domain size slightly increased with decreasing average grain size.
