Abstract
⺠This work presents a new and general mechanism to describe conjugated polymers. ⺠The presented model predicts an oscillating electric dipole in a PA oligomer. ⺠The oscillating electric dipole converts thermal power into near infrared photons. ⺠Infrared photons are characterized as function of the heat bath temperature.
