Abstract
⺠Hybrid electrode based on Coumarin 153 adsorbed on nanotubular TiO2 is presented. ⺠The optical properties of the single components are compared with the hybrid system. ⺠The photocurrent response is sensibly increased with respect to pure TiO2. ⺠The mechanism of the fast injection of photoexcited electrons was studied. ⺠A strong coupling between the Coumarin 153 and TiO2 nanostructure is proposed.
