Abstract
⺠Aggregation of Au nanoparticles in dip-coated polystyrene film is a surface phenomenon. ⺠The aggregation starts at a critical temperature that represents the effective barrier to aggregation. ⺠This critical temperature increases with polymer molecular weight and then finally saturates.
