Abstract
⺠Single DBT molecules were studied in anthracene and 2,3-dimethylanthracene crystals. ⺠Vibronic spectra of single molecules depend on the local nano-environment. ⺠Dipolar disorder in the crystal leads to broad distribution of the (0, 0) frequencies. ⺠Calculated spectra of the free DBT isomers were compared with experimental results. ⺠DBT molecules can be considered as good probes of the shape of occupied cavity.
