Abstract
⺠We study transient absorption spectra of PPV derivatives covered PbS nanocrystals. ⺠Optical properties of PbS depend on the distance from the polymer to the nanocrystal. ⺠Exciton lifetime is inversely proportional to the distance between polymer and PbS. ⺠The efficiency of multiple excitons generation depends on the capping agent.
