Abstract
⺠The role of structure in the crystallization of GexTe100-x system is established by using EXAFS spectroscopy. ⺠Chemical order is less preserved for Ge than for Te atoms. ⺠The concentration of Ge-Ge bonds in the amorphous state needs to be controlled to accelerate the crystallization speed of GeTe films.
