Abstract
⺠Electron capture by N-methylglycine and N-methylalanine leads to effective cleavage of the N-Cα bond. ⺠The predominant anion is due to the loss of hydrogen atom resulting in the formation of (M-H)â. ⺠Electron attachment process is purely dissociative.
