Topological (ELF and ρ) study of the unusually long N-O bond in (CF3)2NO-NO

► The N-O bond in (CF3)2NO-NO is unusually long: 1.572 Å (GED) and 1.669 Å (X-ray). ► There are not bonding V(N,O) and non-bonding V(N), V(O) basins in the long N-O bond. ► The C-F bonds and N-O bond - linking ONO group with (CF3)2N - have the basin population about 1 e.
