Abstract
⺠Tantalum atoms react with ammonia to form the metal-ammonia complexes. ⺠These complexes rearrange to form the imido and amido complexes. ⺠Isotopic substitutions and DFT frequency calculations are used for identification. ⺠Reaction mechanism is investigated theoretically.
