Abstract
⺠Isolation is an applicable strategy for obtaining highly doped stable heterofullerenes. ⺠The dopants are completely isolated by means of strong CC double bonds. ⺠Isolating the dopants avoids weak heteroâhetero bonds. ⺠The isolated heterofullerenes do not collapse to open cage structures.
