Abstract
⺠We study the second-order electric transition dipole moment derivatives. ⺠We study the antisymmetric nonresonant vibrational Raman polarizabilities. ⺠We investigate the sum-frequency vibrational spectroscopy off electronic resonance. ⺠The contribution of second-order derivatives may be detectable experimentally.
