Abstract
⺠Perturbed free induction decay (PFID) signal for an anharmonic vibrational system. ⺠Theoretical derivation for PFID signal for both fundamental and overtone transitions. ⺠Experimental studies performed with excellent agreement with theory. ⺠PFID signal can be suppressed by filtering procedure.
