Abstract
⺠Systems which show the lotus effect are appealing for a variety of applications. ⺠Water adsorption on a single crystal surface with intrinsic hydrophobic properties was characterized. ⺠Water TDS on Sb(1 1 1) shows only a condensation feature starting at very small exposures. ⺠Spectroscopy, kinetics, and dynamics techniques were used to study water adsorption on Sb(1 1 1). ⺠Antimony is chemically highly inert.
