Abstract
⺠Co-adsorption of NH3 and SO2 on quartz(0 0 0 1) studied by TPD and RAIRS. ⺠Surface complex formed as a result of co-adsorption irrespective of dosage order. ⺠Relative molecular composition of the complex dependent on the dosage order. ⺠Mutual stabilization in the adlayer demonstrated by the TPDs. ⺠Hydrogen bonding is argued to contribute to stabilization on the basis of RAIRS.
