Abstract
► The first magic angle spinning 14N overtone NMR spectra are presented. ► CSA and heteronuclear dipolar couplings are averaged, narrowing the linewidths. ► Spinning sidebands are minimal, though peaks show a MAS-rate dependent shift. ► Frequency-swept pulses provide very broad excitation bandwidths. ► Different nitrogen sites are well-resolved in spectra obtained from powder samples.
