Abstract
⺠The first magic angle spinning 14N overtone NMR spectra are presented. ⺠CSA and heteronuclear dipolar couplings are averaged, narrowing the linewidths. ⺠Spinning sidebands are minimal, though peaks show a MAS-rate dependent shift. ⺠Frequency-swept pulses provide very broad excitation bandwidths. ⺠Different nitrogen sites are well-resolved in spectra obtained from powder samples.
