Abstract
⺠The rate constant of C2H + SO2 over T = 295 to 800 K is kSO2(T) = (0.86 ± 0.08)T3.80±0.13 exp[â(1222 ± 79)/T]. ⺠The rate constants are moderately high and show negative temperature dependence. ⺠C2H + SO2 plays a significant role in combustion and interstellar environments, where its main products will be HCCO + SO.
