Abstract
⺠The photophysic of the new homodinuclear complex [(tbbpy)2Ru(3,16-Br2-tpphz)Ru(tbbpy)2](PF6)4 is presented. ⺠The bromine substituents lower the emission quantum yield. ⺠The bromine substituents decelerate the charge-transfer process. ⺠After excitation of both chromophores excitated-state annihilation occurs.
