Abstract
⺠Environment effects on triplet-triplet energy transfer in DNA are studied theoretically. ⺠Electronic couplings are significantly enhanced or reduced for individual conformations. ⺠Conformational averaging leads to an overall cancellation of polarization effects. ⺠Rate of triplet exciton transfer is expected to be rather insensitive to medium effects.
