Abstract
► Ultrafast SAVS provides a unique approach to study CT states in OPV materials. ► The rate of CT state dissociation exhibits weak temperature dependence. ► Excess energy plays little role in dissociation of CT states in P3HT:PCBM blends. ► High molecular order at donor/acceptor interfaces facilitates CT state dissociation.
