Abstract
âºExcitation profile of quantum dot induced by time-varying impurity domain has been investigated. ⺠The impurity domain slowly increases with time. ⺠The quantum dot is doped with a repulsive Gaussian impurity. ⺠The investigation reveals maximization in the excitation rate. ⺠Maximization depends on initial spread of dopant regime. ⺠The findings could have important engineering applications.
