Abstract
⺠We prepared CdxCuyZn1-x-yS solid solution. ⺠High hydrogen evolution rate was realized even without noble metal cocatalysts. ⺠The DOS results proved the band structure was similar with our assumption. ⺠The effect of band structure to the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution was discussed.
