Abstract
⺠In situ electrodeposition-XPS performed in an ionic liquid for the first time. ⺠Novel cell design prepared for use in conventional XPS chambers. ⺠Cyclic voltammetry performed in the XPS chamber. ⺠Real time monitoring of reactive metal (potassium) electrodeposition demonstrated.
