Abstract
⺠Transition probabilities between discrete states of anharmonic oscillator induced by a time dependent dipole. ⺠Model consists of parametric harmonic oscillator with a time dependent frequency determined self-consistently. ⺠Results for the dependence of transition probabilities for pulses of different widths. ⺠Results for the expectation values of position and momentum.
