Abstract
⺠We investigated the influence of wavelength on femtosecond laser-induced nucleation. ⺠The laser pulses of λ = 260 nm produced more protein dimers than that of λ = 780 nm. ⺠There was no difference in nucleation probability between λ = 260 nm and 780 nm. ⺠The nucleation could be induced beyond the threshold energy of cavitation bubbles. ⺠Photophysical processes such as cavitation bubble generation induce nucleation.
