Abstract
⺠Systematic deformation of a precipitation front into a 2D stationary profile can be achieved by a pH field generated by acidic and basic reservoirs. ⺠Numerical approaches, solving either time dependent reaction-diffusion equations or solving derived Laplace's equation, provide a reasonable description of the system. ⺠Pattern formation can be described and discussed by a simple way taking only acid-base chemistry into account.
