Abstract
⺠Four different adducts of AMD473 with a duplex DNA are possible. ⺠Proton transfer between DNA base pairs of the stable drug-DNA adducts are possible. ⺠Energy difference of single proton transferred and original structure is very small. ⺠Base pair modification via proton transfer may be the cause of DNA damage.
