Abstract
⺠Carbon nanoscrolls can be obtained from monolayer graphene. ⺠The Raman signals between carbon nanoscrolls and monolayer graphene are similar, except the ratios between G and 2D peaks' intensities. ⺠The Raman scattering of the carbon nanoscrolls is dependent on the surrounding temperature. ⺠The temperature coefficients for the G (â¼1580 cmâ1) and 2D (â¼2700 cmâ1) bands are - (1.86 ± 0.06) Ã 10â2 cmâ1/K and - (3.46 ± 0.28) Ã 10â2 cmâ1/K, respectively. ⺠These investigations indicate that carbon nanoscrolls show similar electronic band structure and different phonon dispersion compared with monolayer graphene.
