Abstract
⺠Capillary imbibition of molten salts into sulfide nanotube depends on their lattice type. ⺠Melts of non-layered iodides have a less pronounced structure of the liquid, than those of layered iodides. ⺠Crystallization of non-layered iodides within a nanotubular cavity results in the formation of bulk nanowires.
