Abstract
⺠Addition of molecular chaperone prefoldin (PFD) inhibits salt-induced aggregation of Au NPs. ⺠The interaction between PFD and Au NPs is observed only for the specific Au NPs size. ⺠This is the first demonstration of size-specific stabilization of Au NPs with non-covalent bonding.
