Abstract
⺠The global minimum of Al2As belongs to the 2AⲠstate in the Cs structure. ⺠The 2AⲠstate correlates with the 2B2 state in the C2v structure. ⺠The stable minimum is found both for the 2A1 and 2B1 states. ⺠The Hartree-Fock instability occurs around the 2B2 state equilibrium. ⺠The photodetachments to the 2B2, 2A1, and 2B1 states can be observed.
