Partial energy gradient based on the fragment molecular orbital method: Application to geometry optimization

► Partial energy gradient (PEG) based on fragment molecular orbital method was defined. ► One can obtain the energy gradient in a specific region in large molecules with PEG. ► We performed geometry optimizations of an active site of biomolecular systems.
