Abstract
⺠This Letter is a contribution to a barely studied field: the effects of bitopic receptors, able to incorporate the two reactive species. ⺠We show the high catalytic power of tripodal ligand Tren Aminopropil on the reaction between [Fe(CN)6]4- and S2O82. ⺠The Brönsted equation can be used to quantify the effects and provides the value of the binding constant of the transition state.
