Abstract
► Cooling rate is the most significant factor to the morphology of coalescent Ag nanoparticles. ► At the cooling rate of less than 1.5625 × 1011 K/s, crystalline Ag nanoparticles are formed. ► At a faster cooling rate, amorphous or structures resemble the parent clusters are formed.
