Abstract
⺠Ciprofloxacin, lomefloxacin, norfloxacin and sparfloxacin form complexes with DOPA-melanin. ⺠Fluoroquinolones-melanin complexes are characterized by strong paramagnetism. ⺠Free radicals play an important role in fluoroquinolones binding to melanin. ⺠EPR spectroscopy is useful technique for examination of drugs binding to melanin.
