A new class of polyglycerol-derived amphiphiles for stable and efficient single walled carbon nanotubes isolation and stabilization has been synthesized. Addition of small aromatic moieties adds specificity to the interaction between nanotubes and amphiphiles, resulting in changes in the final suspension population.
