Abstract
Demonstration of anharmonicity in low-frequency vibrations of a transition state for the hydrogen abstraction on a lignin model compound: the harmonic potential is flat compared to the anharmonic potential resulting in a higher density of states and the overestimation of the vibrational partition function. Energy spacing is small, indicating classical behavior.
