Abstract
The mutual influence between hydrogen bonding and either l.p.-Ï or Ï-Ï stacking interactions have been studied in two models of Z-DNA. We have found interesting cooperativity effects between the non-covalent interactions, which are very important in giving the Z-DNA the necessary stability.
