Abstract
The S1 ← S0 hole-burning and excitation spectra have been measured for jet-cooled α, ω-dithienylethylene (DTE) and α, ω-dithienylbutadiene (DTB) vapors to identify the rotational isomers. By measuring the hole-burning spectra, we were able to separate the bands of the two rotational isomers of these molecules.
