Abstract
⺠Glucose prefers to bind to the titania surface in molecular mode. ⺠Possible H bonds with the surface are shown to be important. ⺠The average plane through the glucose cycle prefers to be normal to the surface. ⺠In most cases the HOS is localized on the glucose adsorbate.
