Abstract
Pulse radiolysis and theoretical methods have been used to study the oxidation of phenyl vinyl sulphide (PVS) and phenyl vinyl sulphoxide (PVSO) and underlying mechanism for the formation and stabilities of their radical cations and OH adducts is discussed.
