Abstract
A AuLa2(OH)9 coprecipitate calcined in air at 423Â K shows high catalytic activity, after reduction treatment with H2 or CO at 373Â K, for CO oxidation at 193Â K. The catalysis composed of Au0 clusters smaller than 1.8Â nm in diameters attached to the La(OH)3 support, which contains isolated oxidic Au species.
