Abstract
Variation of reagent concentrations using statistical analyses (factorial design) was used for the first time to optimise the preparation of small sized silica nanoparticles with small standard deviation. 3-D surface contour models of the first (A) and second (B) statistical studies where reagent concentrations were chosen as factors to be varied (TEOS - tetraethylorthosilicate).
