Abstract
The influence of metal surface relaxation on the surface and under surface layers electronic properties has been analyzed in several Letters in the last past years and applications have been proposed on surface reactivity towards small adsorbed molecules. Here is proposed an application to metal-metal surface interaction. This point is important in various domains and especially in the field of beryllium-tungsten interaction on plasma facing components in tokamaks.
