Abstract
A transient chaotic regime has been found and characterized in the dynamics of a ferroin catalyzed Belousov-Zhabotinsky (BZ) reaction. The chaotic behavior has been attributed to the coupling between the BZ nonlinear kinetics and the convective motion occurring in the reactor.
